Oumph! Chili Sin Carne
1 packet of Oumph! Mince (450 g)
6 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon cumin
A pinch of dried thyme
50 ml plant-based cooking oil
1 red pepper, diced
3 fresh jalapeños
Pinch of cayenne pepper, to taste
Pinch of oregano
Pinch of dried chipotle chili, to taste
250 ml tamari soya
1 plant-based stock cube or mushroom broth
400 ml crushed tomatoes
Chop the garlic and fry in the oil in a large saucepan, add all the ingredients except the Oumph! Mince. Note: the jalapenos should be placed whole in pan. Cook for about 20 minutes. Add a little water if the sauce feels too thick.
Fry the Oumph! Mince in a separate frying pan for a few minutes and then add it to the sauce and mix it together.
Serve the Oumph! Chili with tortillas, tacos, guacamole, creme fraiche, salsa, lime wedges, fresh coriander and all your other favourite chili toppings.
