Assembly and garnish

Vegetables for decoration
24 slices of toasted bread

Oumph! layers

200 g Oumph! Thyme and Garlic
200 ml oat-based crème fraîche
150 ml vegan mayonnaise
100 ml freshly chopped parsley
Salt and black pepper


Pâté layer

300 g plant-based pâté
200 ml oat-based crème fraîche

200 ml finely chopped cucumber

Beetroot putty

400 g pre-cooked chickpeas
200 ml oat-based crème fraîche

½–1 beetroot, pre-cooked
1 tbsp tahini
Salt and pepper


Oumph! layers: Chop the Oumph! and mix together with the remaining ingredients. Season with salt and pepper, coat and put in the fridge.

Pâté layer:
Mix all the ingredients together using an electric whisk. Cover and place in the fridge.

Cut off the crusts from all the toast bread. Add 2 slices of bread x 3 slices of bread on a suitable base. Spread over half of the  “Oumph! layer”. Cover with slices of bread. Then spread over your pâté filling. Repeat with a layer of bread and then spread over the rest of the Oumph! layer.

Add the last slices of bread. Mix together all the ingredients to make a putty using a hand blender. Apply putty to the cake using a spatula. Decorate freely.
